IEA World Energy Outlook 2013

The International Energy Agency has released today its 2013 World Energy Outlook. The following are some of the highlights in this high level report:

- The U.S. will overtake Saudi Arabia as the world's largest oil producer by 2015

- Crude prices are expected to move to $128 per barrel by 2035 on a 16% increase in consumption

- OPEC will regain a prominent role by the middle of the next decade

- India will displace China as the largest driver of energy demand growth by 2020

- Brazil is expected to triple its output by 2035
